The speaker’s research team discovered a new frame of general relativity, as well as the self-consistent coupling between gravity and matter in this frame. Assuming this novel gravitational coupling in our universe and tracing the universe back in time, they reach a de Sitter phase with finite Hubble rate. Therefore, this novel gravitational coupling scenario exhibits a cosmological singularity freeness at high energy density limit. A linear perturbation analysis reveals the weak gravitational coupling at such limit, in contrast to the standard minimal coupling in Einstein gravity.

The seminar is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
