Abstract:

In this talk, speaker argues that the requirement of unitarity in a black hole background implies constraints on the low energy parameters of the theory and provides a very strong motivation for the Weak Gravity Conjecture (WGC). He also clarify the role of remnants in the original motivation of WGC.

The seminar is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
