Abstract:
The speaker will continue discussing the implications of quantum gravity constraints, formulated in terms of the “Weak Gravity Conjecture", on models of natural inflation.
He will review several ideas proposed in the literature to evade these
constraints and argue how different generalizations of the conjecture put
severe limits on them.
The seminar is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Seating is on a first-come first-served basis.
