Abstract:

The speaker reviews the idea of quantum gravity with anisotropic scaling, and its applications to holography for non-relativistic field theories, focusing on the structure of anisotropic Weyl anomalies. He will also present some surprises which occur when the notion of Naturalness meets nonrelativistic physics.

The seminar is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Seating is on a first-come first-served basis.
